For the last three years, in view of the fact that for years we have been practising a form of viticulture which respects the environment and using only sustainable, ecological products, we decided to register the 7.5 hectares of the Cerrado del Castillo with the Control Board of Organic Farm Production of La Rioja (CPAR), as an organic vineyard.

In 2013 the first wine made from organically grown grapes will be produced.

In this way we are moving towards a non-interventionist style of viticulture, which allows the vines to express themselves depending on the nature of their surroundings.

A more technical, riskier approach but one which guarantees sustainability and the healthy nature of the end product.
