Since 2000, the Castle's new wines have been produced, which seek to be faithful to the concern's winemaking tradition. We cultivate a total of 25 hectares of vines with an average age of 35 years, half estate-owned and the rest controlled through long term contracts with growers. The soils are poor in organic matter, predominantly alluvial soils with a lot of stones and also clay-limestone plots.

The grape which is grown is tempranillo, goblet pruned and predominantly in narrow plantations of 3,500 to 3,800 vines per hectare.

The cultivation of the vines respects the environment so that the wines will reflect the typicity of the land to the maximum. The growing techniques employed such as pruning, pinching out buds, green harvesting, etc. are aimed at obtaining gapes of the highest quality. The yields are between 4,800 and 5,000 kg. per hectare.
